MADLIB 'BEAT KONDUCTA BOX SET' 7LP

For the first time ever, all volumes of Madlib's iconic Beat Konducta series have been collected in a deluxe box set. Exclusive to the box set is Vol. 0: Earth Sounds, recorded between 1994-1996 and released in 2001 as a limited pressing. The box set also includes Vol. 1-2: Movie Scenes, Vol. 3-4: In India, and Vol. 5-6: Dil Cosby Suite and Dil Withers Suite, each presented in limited 2LP gatefold editions for the first time. Beat Konducta Vol. 1-2: Movie Scenes & Movie Scenes, the Sequel, inspired by library music for film and TV, were originally released in 2005 and 2006 respectively. For Beat Konducta Vol. 3-4: In India, Madlib travelled (via his record collection) to the Asian subcontinent, for a journey through Bollywood soundtracks and '60s-'80s productions from India. He paid tribute to his friend and collaborator, the late J Dilla, on Beat Konducta Vol. 5-6: Dil Cosby Suite &Dil Withers Suite.
