Billy Howerdel is known to most of you as the founding member and guitarist, also the songwriter and producer for the bands A Perfect Circle and Ashes Divide. He has announced his debut solo album, What Normal Was.

His prior release outside of A Perfect Circle was with his other band Ashes Divide.

The news follows the arrival of Howerdel's debut solo single Poison Flowers – a dark, spectral slice of airy progressive rock – which landed back in March.
